Image Converter

Convert between JPG, PNG, WebP and AVIF — entirely in your browser.

Image Converter guide

The Image Converter changes local images between common web formats such as JPG, PNG, WebP and AVIF where your browser supports them. It is helpful when a website requires a specific format or when you want a better size-quality tradeoff.

Different formats suit different images. JPG is widely compatible for photos, PNG is good for transparency and sharp graphics, WebP is efficient for websites, and AVIF can be very small but is not supported everywhere.

When to use it

How to use it

  1. Select the source image from your device.
  2. Choose the target format supported by your browser.
  3. Adjust quality when converting to a lossy format such as JPG or WebP.
  4. Preview the converted image if available.
  5. Download the result and test it where you plan to use it.

Example

Input

logo.webp from a design export.

Output

logo.png for a system that only accepts PNG uploads.

Converting to PNG may increase file size but preserves transparency.

Privacy

Images are converted locally using browser image and canvas APIs. UtilityTools.eu does not receive your image file.
