The short version

Who we are

UtilityTools.eu is built and maintained by BENANDLIVA / Nugzar Guliashvili, based in Denmark in the European Union. You can reach the operator at [email protected].

What data the tools collect

Most utilities on this site — including the JSON formatter, password generator, file encryption, CV maker, image tools and PDF tools — are implemented in client-side JavaScript and browser APIs such as Web Crypto, Canvas and File APIs. For those tools, the data you put into the tool stays on your device.

A small number of tools need network access to provide their function. Examples include public exchange-rate lookups for the currency converter, IP lookup requests, WebRTC signaling for P2P tools, and FTP Explorer requests where credentials must be sent to the UtilityTools.eu server to connect to the FTP/FTPS host you specify. These exceptions are limited to the tool you choose to use and are described in the tool interface or page text.

Hosting & server access logs

The site is hosted on DigitalOcean in their Frankfurt (FRA1) data center, inside the European Union. There is no user account database and no analytics backend. The server mainly ships static HTML, CSS and JavaScript files over HTTPS, plus a few documented API endpoints required by specific network tools.

Like every web server, our hosting provider may temporarily record standard access logs (IP address, timestamp, requested URL, browser user-agent) for the sole purpose of security and availability. These logs are not linked to any account, are not shared, and are rotated on a short schedule. We do not use them for analytics or profiling.

Third-party scripts on this site

To keep the site honest, here is the complete list of third-party services running on UtilityTools.eu:

That's it. No Google Analytics, no Plausible, no Facebook Pixel, no Hotjar, no Sentry, no error-trackers, no A/B-test SDKs, nothing else.

Local storage

Some tools use the browser's localStorage to remember your preferences locally — for example, your favorited tools on the homepage, or a CV draft so you don't lose it on refresh. This data never leaves your device and you can clear it any time from your browser settings.

Advertising — Google AdSense

To keep this site free we run advertisements through Google AdSense, Google's ad-serving network. When ads are loaded, the following may happen:

You can opt out of personalised advertising at any time via Google's controls:

Cookie consent (EU / GDPR)

If you are in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, or Switzerland, advertising cookies require your consent. When the legally-required consent banner appears, you can accept, reject, or customise non-essential cookies. Essential preferences (favorites, theme) are stored in localStorage and do not require consent.

Third-party libraries / CDNs

A few tools load open-source JavaScript libraries from public content-delivery networks (for example, JSZip for ZIP creation or pdf-lib for PDF editing). The CDN provider may see the standard request information (IP, user-agent) when the script is fetched. We do not send personal data to these CDNs — they only see a request for a public file. The libraries themselves run in your browser and do not call home.

Children's privacy

This Service is intended for general audiences and is not directed at children under 13 (or under 16 in the EU, where applicable). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

Your rights (GDPR)

Because we ourselves do not collect personal data through the tools, there is normally no personal data of yours that we hold. If you have questions about Google AdSense data, please contact Google directly via the links above; for anything related to this site, write to [email protected] and we will respond within 30 days.

Changes

We may update this policy. Material changes will be reflected by the "Last updated" date above; substantive changes (for example, adding a new ad or analytics provider) will also be announced on the homepage.
